Our Story

It all started with an empty building, an old Benz and three sisters with capital of $20 each. This was the early '90s mind you. And we were still in school!

Together we would spend weekends travelling around the Derwent Valley and Hobart searching for old items to sell on our market stall in the old drill hall building our parents had bought. An industrious lot, we would often spend the rest of our free time making apricot jam and worcestershire sauce to sell on our stall. We also managed the little market along with possibly the most affordable coffee shop around.

Fast forward 20-something years, three university degrees and many buying trips further afield and here we are today. Whilst one sister moved to Melbourne, two sisters Tammy and Donna are joined with their mother, Sue in running The Drill Hall Emporium.
